Okay, so I think I should come clean about something. And seeing as I’ve been awake for 24 hours straight, I think it’s a perfect time to start revealing my secrets.
I am a Trekkie. There, I’ve said it. Expecting something more scandalous? Sorry to disappoint. Recently, in secret, I’ve been watching the movies, starting from “VYGR” onward. When I realised that Star Trek could never leave my life, I embraced my Trekkie-ness and watched the movies without abandon until the wee hours of the morning. I thought that I had outgrown it, but no, it was not to be that way.
It all started in high school, when I started watching reruns of the original series. I still have it, too. Though, it’s now packed in its box, awaiting.. something, I don’t know.
Anyway, I’ve calmed down a whole lot since then, but the fact remains: “Once a Trekkie, always a Trekkie”. And, for the first time since high school, I’m not embarrassed to admit my love of Star Trek. So, without further ado:
And, because I had fun futzing around in Photoshop so much, I made this seriously embarrassing bonus image for your amusement:
This is Binary Blonde signing off. G’night!
