A Good Start

I arrived in New Orleans last night, after a 3 hour delay in Houston due to severe thunder storms. Today, our team, which included a mom who brought her ten year old daughter and myself, went into the city to leave food and water for stray animals. Soon ARNO, where this very adoptable dog is staying, will be moving to a much larger state-of-the-art facility. After we move operations, we can start trapping the animals that we are leaving food and water for. I hope to send before and after photos of the new location.

I also found out that Alley Cat Allies sent the last of the cats they were caring for to their new homes. Now, they are going to dismantle base camp and start a massive spay/neuter campaign for the city. It’s a much better time for New Orleans animals and I am so happy to be a part of it all.
