I'm 30-ish, married, a mom to a handsome little boy, and live in Austin, Texas. I blog about a myriad of subjects, often touching on my experiences, feelings and travels (and occasionally my cats). I'm also a huge animal lover, an outdoor enthusiast, a multi-faceted geek, a proud Mac user and an open-minded old soul.

Comment Love
July 28, 2007The topic of comment (and commenting on other people’s blogs) came up in the KMRL chatroom. I have to admit that I love getting comments, I mean, who doesn’t love to feel "validated" in some way or another, but I don’t really expect them. Some people just enjoy reading and some people enjoy telling you what they think about what you posted – either is fine with me. Even if I never received comments on my posts, I’d still enjoy blogging. 🙂 My blog is my main creative outlet and enjoy expressing myself through it.
Regarding commenting on other people’s blogs.. I wish I remembered to do it more. I usually always enjoy the post that someone makes, even if it’s a simple, "Hey I’m here and alive." It makes me feel more connected with them, in some small way.
So, how important is "comment love" (i.e., getting lots of comments on your posts) to you?
