A Tea Party Baby Shower

While in California for our week-long vacation last month, my sister (in-law) and best friend lovingly hosted my baby shower at my mother (in-laws) home.

It was so special and as I wouldn’t be able to do it justice with words, I’ve chosen some of my favorite photos to highlight the special day.

The tea party theme (blue, brown and gold) looked so lovely all set up!

My sister crafted all the decorations by hand. My best friend\'s talents went into making fragrant sugar scrub for favors!

That’s so cute. I love the baby is brewing idea.

We had a small tea party at a hotel for my best friend’s baby shower. She lives in Georgia now, so she came back to Chicago for our High School reunion and had it at the Peninsula hotel, which is known for their tea.

Funny thing was, the red hat society ladies were there that day too, so we had a show with all of them mulling about.

Very sweet shower. I hope you received all the necessities!

Binary Blonde I am a Mac person too. Thank you for sharing such nice baby shower pictures with us. Lovely color scheme too. You didn’t mention baby shower games. Did you play any baby shower games? My favorite part of a baby shower is always the games. You and Kevin are an adorable couple. My best wishes to the Binary Boy, I’m sure he will be a Mac user too.
