Thanks for the info - it's just the kind of info I was looking for. We've read several places that it gets hot, though no one mentioned "stinking hot". :lol: Either way, I adore the heat and humidity and will be quite happy if it is hot most of the time. Kevin said he would "deal". Haha! How2Blogger - Thanks! This is perfect. Thanks for your opinion and info! Mandy - Hrm, bad traffic, huh? I've read a lot about it, but didn't know it was that bad. I wonder if it is as bad as traffic is in Los Angeles, because that would seriously suck. We will look into those other towns you mentioned - thank you! Thanks for the blog, too. I am a little biased on the Texas topic, being a native Texan. We live in North Texas but, we love to take trips to Austin. We have thought about moving there ourselves. Why haven’t we? Easy…traffic. The traffic in Austin is terrible, it didn’t use to be but, now it is. Depending on where you were going to work I would either live in Dripping Springs (southwest of Austin) or Round Rock (just north). It is an extremely laid back city and nothing like Dallas or Houston. I would ask Chicken Fried Therapy (http://www.chickenfriedtherapy.blogspot.com/), she is a transplant who lives in Austin.
