For the greater part of the morning, I felt nauseated after drinking the sea water flush, but thank goodness it didn’t come back up like it did yesterday morning. I read that licking a lemon in between gulps of the sea water helps, so I gave it a try and it did seem to work slightly. I also drank it through a straw in hopes I wouldn’t taste it as much. It also helped. Still, it’s pretty gross tasting and I pretty much hate doing it, but if I’m going to do this, I’m going to do it right.
I felt pretty icky today, but it is getting easier and I’m not feeling as hungry as I have the first two days. Though, the macaroni and cheese Kevin made for his dinner smelled so effing good. I swear I had this huge grin on my face just sitting there next to him smelling it – and I don’t even eat mac and cheese normally! From what I’ve read, by the fifth day, food isn’t even on your mind anymore. I can only hope. 😉
I’m on my last serving of lemonade for the day, with a total of six servings again. I found that by drinking it cold, like you would normal lemonade, it tastes much better. For some reason I had it in my head that the 10 ounces of water needed had to be heated. That is not the case. I might even try freezing a serving or two tomorrow and eating it like a slushie.
I used up my first bottle of maple syrup (12.5 oz) this morning! Doesn’t that seem like a lot to you? It does to me, but I’ve been following the recipe to a T. I still have plenty of lemons left, as I only use a half a lemon per serving. I got lucky in finding nice, juicy lemons.
Ahh, well, time for my evening teas. Yay! 😀 I made it through the hump. Hopefully, it’s all down hill from here.
