Unanswerable Question

October 12, 2005

I’ve noticed a specific topic/question popping up again and again within the blogosphere: why do humans work?

One of my favourite bloggers, The Martian Anthropologist, brought up the topic a few days ago, in his post, “Man’s Real Natural State“. I found it so dead-on, that I had my husband read it.

Then, today, another blog, The Anthropik Network, follows up with, “The Lilies of the Field“. I forwarded this one onto my husband and my mother.

Both posts are equally facinating and well written. If you have always felt something was awry with “the way things are” on this planet, as I have practically since I could talk, I suggest you read those posts.

Hey, thanks for your kind words about that entry. This is a subject that I feel very strongly about. I’ll be following up sometime soon with some practical suggestions for people on this topic.
